Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS  (Cambist Films, 1975)

A particularly grimy sub genre of grindhouse cinema - Nazisploitation - and one of the most well known titles! Dyanne Thorne gained much notoriety from her starring role! This is one I have not seen! This poster was featured in an earlier MMPM post - but here it's teamed up with its sequels for a Theme Week!

Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks  (Cambist Films, 1976)

The filmmakers throw any vestiges of realism to the winds by setting this sequel in the then present day mid 1970's with Ilsa not looking any more than a year older as she now works out of the Middle East! Haven't seen this one either!

Ilsa, The Tigress of Siberia  (New World Pictures, 1978)

The last official sequel puts Ilsa in the hands of other filmmakers - and this time they back up to 1953 to start their story, then bring it forward to 1977 - again without Ilsa noticeably aging. Dyanne Thorne made another women in prison movie in 1977 for director Jess Franco - The Wicked Warden - but it's not really an Ilsa movie - it just got that title slapped on it sometimes. This completes my hat trick of not having seen these movies.

Until next post, you Can Poke Me With A Fork, Cause I Am Outta Here!
